The Stark County Master Gardener Volunteer Program extends an invitation to all gardeners, and those who love gardening to join us on Saturday, October 7 at RG Drage Career Technical Center for our fall gardening symposium, Botanica 2017. This year’s theme is "Grow your Garden with Us" and is sure to expand your gardening knowledge and send you away with lots of new ideas for now and next year. The day's program will begin with registration and a free continental breakfast at 8:00am. Janet Macunovich will be this year's keynote speaker. She will give 2 talks, ‘52 Weeks of Color’ and ‘Great Plant Combinations’. Additionally, there will be four hands-on demonstrations to spark your creative side. Gardening and non-gardening vendors, new to this year's event, will supply lots of goodies that make great holiday gifts. ‘Ye Olde Garden Shoppe’ will once again be available so that you can pick up gently used and some new garden related items at good prices. The event will also feature our annual chinese auction of assorted gift baskets/packages, and a decorative mum and pumpkin sale too! Cash and Checks accepted!
