2020 Master Gardener Volunteer State Conference

Oct. 28, 2020

The 2020 Virtual State MGV Conference was recently held October 22-23, with over 500 registered to attend.  MGV's from around the state and beyond joined us for this exciting two-day event. The award-winning author and horticulturalist, Brie Arthur, started us off as the Keynote speaker, inspiring us all to "garden" outside of the box.  From pairing perennials with vegetables, to cultivating grains alongside ornamentals, Brie's passion to promote the value of gardening was infectious and experienced by all.  It was a memorable two days of learning and celebrating our phenomenal volunteers and staff.

On Thursday evening, MGVs around the state celebrated our award winning programs, Master Gardener Volunteers, Friends of the MGV program and Coordinators.

Save the date for the 2021 State Conference on October 14-15, 2021 in Fairborn, Ohio hosted by our Greene County MGVs.

Congratulations to this year's nominees and award winners.
