Hardin County MG Plant Sale |
|
The Master Gardeners of Hardin County held a very successful community plant sale. With the help of most of our 35 master gardener volunteers, and with the support of almost all of our county garden clubs, a huge plant sale was held in May at the Hardin County Fairgrounds. Hundreds or thousands of plants changed hands, and all of the clubs and the Master Gardeners association made some money for their future projects. The most important success was that many people were able to find the flowers they wanted, along with any needed advice for their planting and care. Also included during the morning plant sale were several seminars of interest to gardeners. What a great way for our master gardeners to share their expertise and their joy of gardening. |
