Franklin County Master Gardeners were doing the SALSA again this week!

The salsa is made from vegetables grown in the Vegetable Varieties Trials at Waterman Farm near Ohio State. A dedicated group of seasoned and new Master Gardeners gathered Wednesday, September 2, in the Pilot Plant Kitchen in the basement of Howlett Hall, and cleaned, chopped, diced, and mixed until the job was done.

The salsa (mild and medium) was sold at the Chadwick Arboretum Fall Plant Sale, September 3rd and 4th. The funds raised from the sale support the Vegetable Varieties Trials work, and the Franklin County Master Gardener Program.
