Three volunteers with Master Gardeners of Summit County received top awards at the organization’s recent general meeting.
Honored were Jan Becker, President’s Award; Tom Bouton, Carol Easter Life Long Learner Award; and Mindy Costigan-McCartney, Master Gardener of the Year.
Also recognized were members with more than 100 volunteer hours in the past year: Bouton, Costigan-McCartney, Peggy Cartwright, Jean Kindry, Vince Matlock, Pat Munka, Lori Nelson, Mary June Starts, Cheryl Urban and Janet-Jo Walter.
