Plants in the Park offers a multitude of plants, including interesting and exotic plants, planted containers, a container gardening program and a garden reference table for your questions and answers.

The Master Gardeners of Cuyahoga County's annual plant sale offers a multitude of plants, including interesting and exotic plants, planted containers, a container gardening program and a garden reference table for your questions and answers. 
Plants in the Park is held in the Kiwanis Pavilion at Selig Park in Independence, OH, off of Brecksville Rd. (Rte. 21), south of Rockside Rd.

The Ohio State University Chadwick Arboretum & Learning Gardens Spring Plant Sale, Auction and Gardening Fair May 10-11.

The plant sale will feature a large selection of heirloom vegetables, new and unusual herbs, annuals and perennials, native trees, shrubs, hanging annual baskets, tufa trough gardens, jewelry, honey, garden gifts and much more! A tree and shrub auction featuring unique plants will be held each day. Franklin County Master Gardeners and Chadwick Arboretum Volunteers will help with plant selections and answer your gardening questions.

The garden conference to spark inspiration! Join the Licking County Master Gardener Volunteer Program as we celebrate spring at our 2013 Four Seasons of Gardening Conference!

All gardening enthusiats are welcome to attend this fun filled day of vendors, raffels, great food and top notch garden speakers. This year our keynote speaker will be Julie Zickefoose, garden writer and painter. She will discuss her book latest book "The Bluebird Effect" . She will have her books on hand to sell and sign! Many other wonderful speakers and entertainment for lunch provided by the Newark Senior High School Improv Comedy Group!

The Easter Bunny has come and gone, we have started some seeds, and now it is time to increase our gardening knowledge while we wait for the garden to be workable.

Garden Fling is a day filled with programs that will appeal to gardeners of all types and the opportunity to visit with the many vendors selling a variety of garden items.

Admission is $7:00 and you can shop till you drop or attend all the programs or just a few. 

Kathy Smith the OSU Forestry Expert will be the keynote speaker presenting "Invasive Plants of Ohio."

There will be a panel of "Ask the Experts" to answer your garden questions.

Lunch is available.

Calling all perennial gardeners come and get prepared for spring,  not only will we learn to renovate our gardens, but the program will rejuvenate us.

This day is devoted to perennial gardening with the speakers presenting on a variety of topics .  Keynote speaker, Kerry Mendez will do two programs the first Design tips Shared from Before and after Garden Renovation and the second Three seasons of Outrageous Color from Perennials.  Other presenterswill be Pamela Bennett, Top Ten Pest of Perennials ; Kathy Burkholder,  Top Performers at the Chadwick arboretum; and Pablo Jourdan, Coreopsis.

This class will be taught by Carolyn Allen and Kathy McConkey of Ohio State University Extension, Clark County.  Carolyn and Kathy are also Master Gardeners

This class is for the novice vegetabel gardener.  Topics will include:  choosing a site, crop selection, seed starting, planting times, and cultural practices.

A question and answer session will conclude the class.

The Annual Plant Sale is offering a large variety of perennials, trees, shrubs, native plants, bulbs, daylilies, herbs and garden/yard decorative items.

The next scheduled Master Gardener project for this year is the annual Plant Sale offering a large variety of perennials, trees, shrubs, native plants, bulbs, daylilies, herbs and garden/yard decorative items.

The sale will take place August 18 beginning at 8 a.m. and run through Noon at the Union County Fairgrounds in the Armory Building.

Visit the Gateway Garden Jubilee and see the gardens at their best.

The Gateway Garden Jubilee is an opportunity for the public to visit the gardens and see over 800 varieties of plants.  Over three acres of gardens are maintained by the Master Gardeners of Clark County and on this day the gardens are at their best.

This years event will feature demonstrations on heirloom tomatoes, attracting purple martins, perennials, All American Selection trials, and waste management.

The day will start off with Keynote Speaker Janet Macunovich followed by two class sessions with four different choices in each session.

Food will be provide by the Garden Cafe which will be serving hot sandwiches, veggie/cheese plate, brownies, gourmet coffee, soft drinks, chips, and more.
