The Ohio State University Chadwick Arboretum & Learning Gardens Spring Plant Sale, Auction and Gardening Fair May 10-11.
The plant sale will feature a large selection of heirloom vegetables, new and unusual herbs, annuals and perennials, native trees, shrubs, hanging annual baskets, tufa trough gardens, jewelry, honey, garden gifts and much more! A tree and shrub auction featuring unique plants will be held each day. Franklin County Master Gardeners and Chadwick Arboretum Volunteers will help with plant selections and answer your gardening questions. Auction begins at 12:00noon on both days.
A special “Members Only” night will be held Thurs., May 9, from 5:30 - 8:30pm, with the auction beginning at 6pm. Arboretum memberships will be available for purchase at the door! Don’t miss this “first pick of the plants” opportunity! All proceeds benefit the programs and operations of the OSU Chadwick Arboretum & Learning Gardens. The sale is located at the northwest corner of Lane Ave. and Fred Taylor Dr. on campus, with parking nearby. From SR315, take the Lane Ave. exit and turn east onto Lane Ave; continue one block to Fred Taylor Dr.
