Medina County Master Gardener Program is a growing volunteer program. OSU Extension in Medina County accepts applications and trains new volunteers in EVEN years only. Our typical schedule in Medina involves holding an open house for interested persons in March/April, accepting applications through May, interviews in June, and classes beginning August through October. (This may be subject to change.) Training consists one day a week from 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. for 12 to 13 weeks on various topics from botany to plant diseases, plant ID to insects.
Volunteers host and present programming year-round that is available to the public. Find more information about upcoming events on our website at http://medina.osu.edu/program-areas/master-gardener-volunteers
