Licking County Master Gardener Volunteer's Carol Price, Sherry LeMaster and Ruth Sainsbury are redefining the Junior Garden Program in Licking County. In the interest of education, the Junior Garden program is branching out and bringing educational outreach programs to Central Ohio children. Spring 2011 outreach programs have been held for: Par Excellence School (Newark), Kinder Kare Day Care (Reynoldsburg),Utica Elementry and L.E.A.D.S Parent Night. Plans are in progress to help area schools with planning greenhouse projects, after school programs and planning school gardens.
