Naturalist Jim McCormac will present "Think Globally, Plant Locally." Jim writes a column for the Columbus Dispatch and a nature blog www.jimmccormac.blogspot.com. He is also the author of Birds of Ohio. The program is to honor Martha Beck and Lyn Fisher who were instrumental in founding the Pickaway County Master Gardener Volunteer program in 1998.

Garden Fling is a day filled with programs that will appeal to gardeners of all types and the opportunity to visit with the many vendors selling a variety of garden items.

There will be a panel of "Ask the Experts" to answer your garden questions.

This day is devoted to perennial gardening with the speakers presenting on a variety of topics . Keynote speaker, Kerry Mendez will do two programs the first Design tips Shared from Before and after Garden Renovation and the second Three seasons of Outrageous Color from Perennials. Other presenterswill be Pamela Bennett, Top Ten Pest of Perennials ; Kathy Burkholder, Top Performers at the Chadwick arboretum; and Pablo Jourdan, Coreopsis.
